Leading Polish Marketplace Allegro has officially expanded its operations to customers based in Ukraine. During 2025, Allegro’s revenue in Poland reached EUR 740 million, while the Allegro Group achieved global revenue of around EUR 16.2 billion.
On October 14, 2026, Allegro Poland shared officially that the product offerings listed on its Polish marketplace are now available for purchase by Ukrainian consumers.
Allegro Marketplace
It’s important to note that Allegro currently isn’t opening a new local marketplace in Ukraine, but it’s actually making its Polish Marketplace and related product offerings open for consumer ordering by residents of Ukraine.
The “pilot” phase, how the e-marketplace officials are describing the first chapter of this cross-border trade, is defined by two crucial factors: over a million product offerings, and the selection of several hundred registered third-party vendors who are able to process these supplies.
Delivery of the parcels shall be handled primarily via Nova Poshta (domestic/national postal service). Allegro One Kurier is responsible for transporting goods in Poland, while Nova Poshta provides delivery in Ukraine. The companies have integrated logistics and customs systems to simplify international shipments.
Domestic customers can place orders directly on allegro.pl, or through the marketplace mobile application, which has been developed in a language-friendly manner to accommodate local customers.
VAT and Customs
Allegro vendors could still benefit from the “low-value” import scheme. Currently, Ukraine’s VAT and Customs framework permits “faster” clearance of consignments whose value is below EUR 150, since no import tax or duties are levied.
More expensive orders probably will face import tax and/or customs duties. Certain categories of goods, including alcohol, perfumes, coffee, and tea, are treated differently.
The e-marketplace will automatically generate export documents, assist third-party vendors with customs codes, and translate product offers into Ukrainian. Settlements with Polish-registered vendors will be made in zlotys, which will allow them to avoid exchange fluctuations.
Nova Poshta will act as the intermediary for customs and/or taxes if the received parcel is taxable, and will collect them before delivery or upon receipt of the parcel.
Allegro expects that the new direction will open up access to the Ukrainian market for registered Polish third-party vendors; the company estimates that there will be around 12 million interested online shoppers.
